Aaron Joins Nectar

You’ve already met Aaron Harp from our Nectar Hackathon video. He’s the guy sitting by the window whose legs look like they’re possessed with this guy.  Aaron is a long time friend of ours and a ninja PHP developer, which is why we are happy to announce that he’s officially joining the Nectar team! Aaron is responsible for all of the beautiful back-end functionality you will experience at our launch, so check out his blog @www.aaronharp.com and tell him how awesome he is.

While you were sleeping…we solved your personal branding problems

Well not really, but we got off to a great start.  After nearly two weeks of planning, our talented team of six took the initial steps towards launching Nectar.  We locked ourselves at Brett’s house for an intense and highly productive weekend “hackathon” session.  As a result of our efforts, we completed the design and coding for our first Nectar “Taste” — a technically complex, yet elegant site design called “Miniml”. Additionally, we programmed the back-end components which will power the purchase process, domain registration, and lifestream components.  Finally, we designed several of the front-end sales & customer information pages, and launched the blog you are reading now.
